If the owner doesn't appear, please call Hildy Langewis at (510) 886-4210 or
Jeanne Carley at (415) 851-3750.  Both Hildy and Jeanne deal with lost
ferrets, or rescues if necessary.  They may be able to help find the owner
or may be able to help find a new home if necessary.  I'm in Placerville
(near Sacramento) and not really in the market for another ferret right now.
