Ugh! You know it's been a *long* week when you get up in the morning and
start having conversations like "If the ferrets were cookies what type would
they be?". (The worse part about it is that you give it some serious
thought!) We determined that
Atlas - would be a big ol' sugar cookie
Squirt - a chocolate covered florentine (he's a chocoholic!)
Pippi - a gingersnap
'Jinx - a cocconut macroon
That obviously (only to the deranged or sleep-deprived mind) leads to "what
kind of music would they listen to?".
Atlas - children's songs on those old 45 RPM records
(like I had when I was a kid). His all time
favorite is "I'm a little teapot".
Squirt - He's the classical man. His favorite is
Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". He likes the "Fall"
movement the best. Lately I've caught him a few
times listening to "The Thistle & the Shamrock"
show. I think he's sneaking a little Chieftains,
Bothy Band, and Silly Wizard in on the side.
Pippi - she likes it if it's "got a beat you can dance
to" - fast dance that is! She's a dancing maniac and
songs like the "Twist", "Devil in a Blue Dress",
and "Limbo" are among her fav's. She's a
party animal and loves those party tunes!
'Jinx - "Jinx-ie is a punk rocker...." to borrow and
twist a line from a Ramones' tune. She likes
the punk music from the early 80's and the
Ramones are definately her fav' band!
Strange as this is, I'm sure you're now thinking about what kind of cookie
your ferret would be or what music they would listen to!! ;)
-kim.....I promise to get some sleep before posting again!
