I've a question on ferret sounds.

I've had SD for a little over 4 years and can count on one hand the times I
have heard her make any noises. Regrettably, once was a loud shriek when
her tail was stepped on. I've never heard her "chuckle" or "hiss". The
latter of no importance since she is extremely good natured and has never
attacked (biten) anythingor had to defend herself.

I would love to hear her chuckle! The most I have heard is a few times when
excited and hopping around a very very faint noise, more resembling the
noise one would make with a quick output of air, not a chuckle at all. And
even this occurrance is very rare.

She is healthy and energetic. Always playful when not asleep. But why
doesn't she chuckle? Thanks.
