95/10/8 BFF PR / CNN
 
    Good news!
 
    On Sunday, 10/15/95 on their Science and Technology show, CNN will be
doing a piece on the Black Footed Ferret recovery effort.  The program today
was at 1:30pm PST but may have been pushed out of an earlier slot by a
football game.  I'm told it usually airs at 9:30am, so consult your program
guide to be sure.  They had a cute scene of a BFF as they did the "next
week's" promo.
 
    I have no inside information on what it will exactly cover, and don't
know if will be truthful about the June slaughter.  The fact that there is
any coverage of their plight can be viewed as positive as it makes more
people aware that they are highly endangered.
