I just wanted to add that I bear no ill-feelings towards Dr. Kawasaki. I
still feel that he is about the best there is. He couldn't have cared
more. If Bree hadn't passed away that day, he was going to take her home
that night and wake up every hour to check her temperature. The other two
ferrets in the hospital that day for the same surgery came through fine
with no complications. While caring for Bree the final day, he was
obviously very distraught, and researched desperately trying to find any
new information that might help. He did all he could. And, when she died,
he was so upset he had to leave the building. He is a wonderful vet. We
appreciate his efforts.
