Well, I learned a valuable lesson by posting in Alt.Ferrets about those
danged fleas.
I bought Asher, my year-old silver mitt, a flea collar. Afterward, I
started wondering whether it was the right thing to do, so I posted a query.
I got quite a few responses, half of which said sure, go ahead, and half of
which described the horrible fate that would befall her if i put one on her.
I think the lesson is that I'll get a vet's ruling on it. Meanwhile, I've
tossed the collar, which by the by does not seem to be terribly effective.
