I bought my first ferret, Roger, because I felt sorry for him.  He was known
as the big, mean, and white ferret.  Noone wanted him.  I scolded him with
the scruff and shake method.  It is very effective.  Roger is a mama's boy
now and is so loving.  He would never dream of putting his teath on me!
 
I recommend this method!  It is a great way for your ferret to learn that
you are the leader!
