Hi, I'm Tracy. New here (might have guessed). I have a few questions, but
first let me introduce us. I am a student at Michigan State University, I
am 21 and I am hopelessly in love with an adoreable fuzzy named Niko.
(smile) I got Niko as a birthday present in September. Don't worry, it was
not an impulse buy, I have been interested in ferrets for about 3 years. I
did not uy one previously because they were illegal here (Michigan) until
recently. I could have driven to Ohio to get one, but was concerned about
what I would do if it needed medical attention. Anyway-I diverse-I have
tried for a number of years to educated myself about ferrets, but, as you
may guess, there is just not a lot of information available in a state where
ferrets are just recently legal. I've done pretty well so far, but, now I
have a question...I am using cat litter in Niko's box. It is supposed to be
dust free, but it still is dusty. Lately, Niko's been snezzing a little
bit, especally after a good dig in the box. Is this dust bad for her
respatory system? Is there some secret litter that is a favorite of
ferrets? My second question is kind of silly, oh well, here goes...does
anyone know where I could order personal checks with ferrets on them? Some
type of pet supply catalog or something? Well, thanks in advance for any
info. Next time I write I won't ask a new mom question...I'll tell you the
story of Niko and the pumpkin.....See ya! Niko & me
