I'm blaming this all on the FML...  My little kids would have nothing more
than the obligatory twitch when they slept.  Never a peep.  Now, last night,
I hear a little whimper.  First I think someone is playing too rough.  The
sound isn't even enough to concern me to turn around (the ferret room is the
computer room).  Then the whimper turns into a squeal.  I turn around and
see six blissfully sleeping ferrets.  Was it the cats?  No....  the dogs
would never make a sound like THAT.  I go back to the computer, I must be
hearing things.  Seconds later I hear that horrible acking sound the kits
make when they're terrified.  I spin around again, still six sleeping
ferrets.  I watch, and now I see Rogue's feet twitching and hear her whimper
again.  I woke her up right away.  Never had these dreams before until YOU
guys mentioned it!!!  :)
 
Now, about cats.  I missed the original post about the concerns, but I
definitely would not be just worried about the cats.  I have a 16 year old
cat, Don Gato.  Beckett (a ferret) ADORES cats.  He follow Gato everywhere.
Sometimes Gato gets a little fed up (he's a grumpy old man) and he'll start
to lick real rough and then start to hold Beckett REAL tight with his claws
and then he starts to bite.  We always watch Gato when the ferrets are out.
When quick, "CAT!!" and he stops right away, but I don't want to think what
would happen to the fuzzies if we weren't watching.  Gato has street smarts
that the ferrets don't.
 
The list of ferret names is over 700 now! Added 200 in just a week or so!
