There were several problems with issue 1436. In the middle of editing it
the mainframe (and almost everything on the whole floor, it seems) died.
It took several hours for IBM to come by and fix it all. At around 03:30
the mainframe came back to life and immediately distributed the partially
edited FML... with a wrong issue number as well.
If anyone wants a clean copy, as usual, the archive is fully edited, so
you can request issue 1436 to replace the second 1435.
If all this wasn't enough, it seems that AOL had an internet problem and
many AOL subscribers didn't receive usable mail. AOL sems to have fixed
things this afternoon sometime, so, again, feel free to request issue 1436
if you didn't get it.
Oh, then there's the 2 feet of snow the east coast is getting (I sure did
clear a lot of snow today!)... what a weekend!
Bill
