Well, I've been lurking for ... 5(?) days now. Yea, I know, not nearly long
enough.
I have a four year old female who moved in and took over the apartment in
October 95. She's a black-eyed sort-of-white-if-you-stretch-your-imagination
with a patch of sable (I think) on her right flank. Her name is now Monster,
or Rump Roast (for her fat bum), though she is too proud to come when I
request her presence <G> so it doesn't really matter what I call her.
She flops for (I assume/guess) the following reasons:
1) She's seen and *completely* explored something new and appears to be
thinking about it - this seems to be the most frequent reason - maybe
a waking REM state?!
2) Her life is incredibly tough and she's not allowed to chew the records
(I never feed her either, she wants me to add - you can tell from her
big behind <G>)
3) She doesn't want to play chase or wrestle any more
Any questions at this point are mostly a matter of training (Mine!) and
re-establishing litter training (Hers) which is going O.K. after her 5 days
of 24Hr freedom over X-mas with only daily visits from Uncle Alex and Aunt
Heidi (yea, I know - her life is so tough)
Well now that we've introduced ourselves (oh yea, I'm a programmer), we'll
go back to our lurking <G>
Megan.
