Hello to one and all!
I have a question that has been bugging me and I always mean to post it but
never do... until now! I have noticed that many of the health recipes
given to ferrets call for KMR milk replacer as an ingredient. I was
browsing my Omaha Vaccine catalog and in it they have a full page spread for
Pet-Ag's KMR and Esbilac. In the add they state that Esbilac (for puppies)
is "also for squirrels, ferrets, rabbits, opossums beaver & chipmunks" and
that KMR (for kittens - the logical choice for ferrets, I might add) is
"also for raccoons, guinea pigs, hamsters, badgers & porcupines". Now my
ferrets have acted like raccoons and badgers quite often <G> but which is
the correct formula for them? I know it is a stupid question but sometimes
you just can't get these things out of your head!
Ferret kisses for everyone -
