On the subject of the recommended maximum of one or two raisins a day per
ferret: I believe Dr. Williams said that too many raisins could cause an
intestinaly blockage.
 
I once gave one of my ferrets several raisins (this was before I knew
better) and before long, I found a loose stool full of what looked like
little raisin chunks.
