Hello, my 2 little monsters will not pass up an oppertunity to dig at a
closed door. What we decided to do was to buy 2 feet of (ugh) clear carpet
protector and cut it so it fits through the doorway and sticks out on
either side. At first they loved crawling around under it but that passed
and now it protects my (landlord's) carpet perfectly.
 
Do they ever calm down and cuddle?...YES!  Newton was never interrested in
cuddling until we got Dobey... Newton is 2 years old and I dont know if
this is because she loves me or because she wants to get away from Dobey
(play with me!!!) but now Newton sleeps in bed with us and cuddles on our
laps almost any time we're sitting down! Very endearing! Dobey has NO
interest in any more than a brief hug and a scratch on the neck.
