Yesterday, Keleen said she sent a message to the fml, but it never got
posted. Well, the same thing happened to me. Also, someone sent me a copy
of a posting that they said they put on the fml, but I never saw it on the
list. Did some messages get garbled lately, or am I, perhaps, missing an
issue?

[Moderator's note: I think you missed an issue - I emailed earlier with info
about your posts. It's harder for me to *not* include non-anonymous posts
since they are automatically added to the digest and I have to edit OUT any
posts to remove them. True, I have to edit a few out anyhow, but it's not
quite so automatic going that way. BIG]

The message I wrote was about taking the new kitten home and introducing him
to Seymour. I won't write it again, because it's out-dated, but I will say
that Seymour and the Psycho-kitty are already such good friends, that they
can be left alone with no caging for either. Seymour has already learned
that if the kitten whines, he's biting too hard and he immediately lets go
with no prompting from me! He's such a good boy!!! You know we never had
to teach Seymour not to bite when we got him? I like to brag about that.
So much for ferrets being naturally vicious creatures.

Since we've been on the subject of ferret coloor lately, I have a
question about Seymour. I've always called him sable, but now I'm not so
sure. He looks like he has white undercoat and dark brown, almost black
guard hairs, that is if he's in dark or bright light. If he's in slightly
dim or medium light, he looks like he has yellowish-beige undercoat with
medium brown guard hairs. Is he sable, or siamese?

One more question, Seymour is beautiful, and if I ever get a chance, I'd
like to show him. Are there certain requirements that must be met for a
ferret to be shown? I know that's vague, but I know next to nothing about
ferret shows. Any papers Ineed to have?(I can't imagine what kind) Does he
need shot records? For distemper *and* rabies? Anything else? I must
sound pretty ignorant, but in this matter I guess I am. Any answers would
be appreciated. I couldn't find out many details from the FAQ.

Thanx and have a joyful day!
