>Ferret 8 months old, scab on nose for a couple of months, has not changed.

For a ferret this young to have a lesion on her nose the most likely cause
is diet. This could be the result of a diet that is not well balanced or if
she is not digesting her food completely. It would be best to change her
food to a mixture of one of the ferret foods and a kitten food like Iams.
She may also have lesions on her foot pads.

Other less common causes include fungal or bacterial infections.
