Hi all,

The new baby the SO brought home finally has a name....

Introducing 'Anaka Hina literal translation ferret white hair
pronounced 'ah-nah-kah hee-nah

The name came from an acquaintance in Hawaii, so I guess you can add
'anaka to the list of how to say ferret in foreign languages. The
apostrophe is a glottal stop, and is part of the word. For those who
might be interested in a few other Hawaiian/Polynesian names....

Kea [kay-uh] means white
Apelekoka means apricot

Also to be introduced is another Marshall Farms kit who as yet has no
name... she is a very interesting mix of cinnamon, gold and sable. She is
very small, and is *quite* the climber. Any naming suggestions?

Does anyone have a name for ferret adolescence? You know, the ferret
terrible twos and teens rolled together? :) Kayla definitely has quite the
case of them.
