Hello!  I am a new Ferret Owner, and I am excited about it!  I bought
Bob for my girlfried (Trudy) for Christmas ( Early).  I wasn't so excited
about the Idea until I saw him.  After that point I knew that Ferret was the
way to go.  Bob is 4 months and about to have his booster shot for some of
the basics like distemper and Rabies.  I have checked out the Ferret FAQ and
I have been reading the FML for a while.  I see that we are one of the few
Canadians on the FML.  That brings up a question.  I have read about
Ferretone and would like to know where to get some!  We live in HALIFAX,
Nova Scotia (sort of).  Our vet is new to his business but has taken to
Ferrets as part of his specialty, he may show up here on the FML some day.
I have been feeding him info from and about the Net and its resources.
 
    Bob has very few nicknames other then Little Shit when he is bad.  But
he is bad quite often.  We both have a hard time giving discipline because
when he looks up after being bad its like he has this power to crush any
anger you may feel.  After that he goes right back to what he was doing.  He
likes his corners like the other ferrets that I read about in here.Do you
think that they inherit their personalities,or the quirks, from us?  Bob has
traits of both of us and some of his very own.  He tries his best to hide my
shoes, but he can't get them behind the entertainment center (hidy hole).He
likes pasta (Alpha Ghetti)more then rasins but he will take rasins when
offered.  Taking up too much space now, I will leave off here.
