To Bob Church:
 
You already HAVE a life - it's giving your ferrets the happiest and healthy
life you can possibly give them with lots of love and affection.
 
Believe me when I say, that after having been actively involved in shelter
activities for several years now, there are LOTS of ferrets out there who
don't have the cushy life your 13 fuzz-buckets do.
 
When our Shelter Director presented our former vet with a check list for
shelter ferret exams, he told her I needed a life - well, I have one - it's
doing what I do - and that's rescuing ferrets and helping to educate owners
on how to keep their fuzzies happy and healthy.
 
You are to be commended for turning down a job in CA - exactly what I would
have done!
