An easy way to protect carpet from the carpet sharks: I put down clear
mailing tape down on the doorway area where if the door is closed the tape
protrudes 3-4 inches on either side.  I ended up putting about 12 strips
down to cover the entire area.  This is especially helpful living in an
apartment where the pet deposit is $450 a pet!
 
I got another ferret for my birthday, like last year!  Let's see, I am 21 as
of today so if I keep this up I can be like Bob by the time I'm 33!  This is
a white albino male that is 6 months old.  I've been taking my time naming
him because it has to meet so many requirements!  It has to look like him,
be witty, and go with the name Cosmo.  If anyone has a knack (sp?) for this
naming thing, email with your best efforts and I will award a prize (for
your ferrets of course!) to the winner.
