...when you come home tired and want a nap, and climb into the ferrets cage
because they're useing the bed.

Hi folks, My e-mail address on AOL has changed from Ferret5797 to
FerretBard.

I've a question for our vets. Mhaire has a bald spot on her shoulder. It
started small about a year or so ago. She'd been playing rough with Kian,
so I assumed that she had some hair pulled out. I checked it recently and
the spot had grown to about the size of a dime. I took her to my vet. She
is still very active and has had no change in behavior. The bare skin looks
clean and healthy. Suspecting an allergic reaction to something, my vet
prescribed Panalog(sp) twice a day and bring her back in three weeks. He
did mention that here were other, more serious things it could be, but she
showed none of the other symptoms so we considered those possablities
remote.

Today (a few minutes ago atcually) I noticed some red scab-like spots around
the bald area (the area that still has hair). The spots circle around the
bald spot (which is still clear) forming a quarter inch band.

Going on the assumtion that the skin reaction assumtion was a good one and
it may be expanding, I extened the panalog treatment to cover the red spots
and plan to call Dr. Dutton Monday.

Is there anything else it could be? Have any of you seen this before?

Thanks for any help you can give
