Debbie Riccio made some comments that were right on the mark about
breeding in 'cute' but undesirable traits. Except that in our case it
wasn't 'bulldog' faces. OUr ferrets involved in this breeding weren't
bulldogs. The have what is called a 'sculpted face' withat a definite
shout. It isn't the long thin 'racing weasel' or the 'whippet' face.
These kits don't have a particularly short face either. I don't know
what happened except that I won't be breeding these two again. But I do
agree on the undesirable traits sometimes being the 'cute' ones.
