I'm way behind on the fml, so I apologize if this has been suggested.
Someone here in the east US asked about a ferret sweater for snow-
snorkeling; I was thinking the other day about adapting a sock...  not
waterproof, but may work for a little while.  Certainly the right shape.
Still thinking about it, we also had kind of a "Hey, it's COLD!!" reaction,
followed by a "Hey, that was cool, did you see how I slid down that pile of
white stuff?!?", followed by, "Still kind of cold, though!" so snorkeling
was short-lived.  I think over the weekend I'll bring some snow in in a big
plastic container; INDOOR snow!!!
