This is not an easy question to ask, but it's been on my mind. OUr ferret
Farrah has pretty well free run of our house. It's a 4-level split with a
crawl space so there are lots of places for her to hide and sleep, which
she does close to 20 hours a day. My question is this: When the little
thing eventually succumbs and dies, how will we find her? Sometimes she
sleeps in a drawer or in a laundry hamper or something, but what if she's
sleeping somewhere in the crawlspace? I assume she'll die in her sleep as
that's 80% of her day. Has anyone ever considered this question?
