With the new term starting and the addition of a new ferret, I have
discovered that I can no longer do my homework in the ferrets' room while
they are out. I have touched a little on Pretzel's problem- he is a thief
extraordinaire- anything on the floor MUST be put away. (At least he is
neat.) Yesterday, I learned that everything included engineering paper,
pencils, eraser, and a very humorous attempt at dragging a text that
probably weighs more than he does. After retrieving my papers with the
addition of little puncture marks, I could not help but think of the age
old excuse for late homework: "The dog ate it."
