I wouldn't worry about the crayon!
 
As a kid I used to feed boxes of them to my sister's Lasa Apso (sp?)
and that dog pooped technicolor!  Crayons are *supposed* to be edible,
otherwise they wouldn't be given to children.
 
Ferrets are made of tougher stuff :)
