Hello Linda, how are you doing.  Those where ferrets, in the beastmaster
They just dubbed in those sounds, to make the ferret actors more vocal.
They did the same thing in Kindergarten cop.  I believe the sounds they
used, were from Raccoons.  BTW, Weasels, sound just like ferrets.  ;-)
