I just don't have the courage some of you do.  I think I would look
so guilty crossing the border or smuggling a ferret on a plane, that
I wouldn't be able to get away with it.  I would be too afraid of
losing my ferret to take the risk.
 
It has just occurred to me about this Kalif ornian (did I spell that
right, Mike?) border crossing.  Is this something unique to CA or the
western states?  I've done some traveling on the east coast, and a
border crossing here is a big sign that says "WELCOME TO PENNSYVLANIA" -
you pass the sign and 'you're in.'  What's so special about CA that they
need a special border crossing with guards?
