thought I'd share the results of our first ever ferret show
 
Daphne got three blues in conformation and three blues in color
 
Coffee was classified wrong, so didn't do as well as she should have...
one red and two blues in conformation, two red and one blue in color
(one of the judges judged her as she should have been classed, rather than
as she was)
 
Tia took three blues in conformation, three blues in color, a third in best
of class, and has earned a championship title
 
Taz took three blues in conformation, three blues in color, a sixth,
fifth, and second in best of class, and earned a silver champoinship title
 
Gretchen didn't show because of her self-starvation
 
Kirk fell in love with a ferret being sold by a private breeder and bought
him...a beatiful cinnmon with a bib (the breeder calls his pattern
"tuxedo") that is a huge 15 week old
 
it was a lot of fun, if exhausing (we voluteered in the ferret play room
all day when not showing)

Meet my pets.  The ferrets (Taz, Coffee, Daphne, Tia and Gretchen), the
gerbils (31 permanent residents and various babies), the zebra mouse
(Racer), the rats (five of them), the budgie (Sky), the cockatiel (Summer),
and the fish (various).
