I tried the handedness experiment with the raisen which didn't work
too well because Sarah got so aggrevated that I wouldn't give her the
raisen that she jumped for it and got my finger.  However, I tried an
experiment with a glass (she can absolutely not pass a glass without
knocking it over).  She always used her left paw to tip the glass.
 
My SO and I decided to part ways.  It was a mutual things and he still
has ferret visitation rights; however, since I am going to be moving
into an apartment by myself, I thought perhaps I should get Sarah a
companion.  My SO and I worked different hours so there was normally
someone home for at least a half day.  I would like to get a shelter
ferret.  Does anyone know if there are any shelters in Boulder, CO?
