Melissa, Potpie, and Friday here -

Friday loves water, does the head-dunking thing, etc. Potpie, however,
can't stand it - she'll only let the tips of her whiskers brush the
surface of the water, but never, ever any farther! If the floor is wet,
she literally skitters across it on her CLAWS - desperately trying not to
get the pads on her feet wet. Adorable. :)

Cute story #2: the ferret game that both enjoy is Ferret Under The Box.
We have a number of boxes in our living room, which has slick hardwood
floors (Friday's nemesis - high speed turn! no! aie! *slide*THUMP!*).
One of the boxes is about the size of a shoebox but twice as deep, and we
regularly flip it upside down and 'trap' a ferret underneath - they
gleefully spend the next 15 minutes pushing the box around the floor,
whumping into things, and fascinating the cat. /Nothing/ is funnier than
watching a mysteriously animated box jerkily whirling and zipping across
the floor, frequently running into things. :) They know perfectly well
how to get out, and happily run back under the box if given the
opportunity...hysterical!

As far as introducing the two goes, I can now hold Potpie while Friday
sniffs her, and Potpie won't lunge for the kill /immediately/ - i feel
i'm making progress. :)

Potpie - Master Raisin Eater
Friday - Master Cat's Ear Chewer
Spooky the cat - Harrassed
Melissa - just /one/ more ferret, hmmm, maybe i'll get /one/ more.
