Hello all - I'm new to ferrets (just purchased one 9-May-95) and to this FML.
I've been told that holding a ferret by the scruff of the neck stimulates the
release of endorphins that put the critters asleep. I tried this on Rascal
and sure enough it would start to yawn. **BUT** as soon as I put her down she
acts as though she is angry as hell. Do they all hate it as much as mine?
 
Also I need someone to recommend a good vet in my area (Orange County, NY).
