I have a cinnamon-champagne male ferret... The breeder I got him from
sold me him at six weeks. I came back to him three times (in interavals of
three weeks) to get his distemper shots. By the third time he pointed out
to me that I had a really beautiful ferret. So good looking that I could
make $ 100.00 to let somebody (with their female ferret) breed with mine.
He said I could even get a couple of the kits if I asked.... and they
would still take care of the whole bother until they were six weeks old.
then I would get my kits and take care of them on my own. All I would have
to do is find somebody that would do this (he suggested putting an ad in
the paper) . Is this okay to do? are there any risks? I know I have an
uncommon ferret, but will this work?
My breeder also suggested showing him, but I asked about that before.
thanks,
Steve Coppock
