Dear Christine Code;
Being on the cautious side, I simply don't even try to have a fuzzy
ride on my shoulder. The chance of them falling over five feet onto a very
hard surface is too much risk of injury and death. I'm working too hard to
help mine live a healthy life with genetic predispositions to cancers and
other things beyond my control to take unnecessary chances like that.
I've heard many good ideas though, of various kinds of camera and
other carry bags being outfitted to serve the purpose of travel carry. One
idea I just now had that I've never heard anyone mention is to use one of
the small infant carry devices that hold the infant in front of you. These
are typically made of cloth and canvass and are pretty low in cost. The
advantage is the ferret (s) would be right there in front where you can
keep an eye on them, talk to them, give occasional raisen or other treat,
etc.
Guess I'm going to have to talk to my daughter & see if she still
has the one I bought her awhile ago.
Take care, & have fun. Gary
