My answer to someone who says they hate ferrets, because they owned them...
And I have heard this before...

Is that Ferrets are often more intelligent than their owners.
While ferrets are seldom seen operating hearvy machinery,
Everyone here can attest to their problem solving skills.

In fact, this senario often presents itself to unwary ferret owners:
Ferret finds something... you take it away. Ferret's new mission
in life is to find that thing again. Kinda like hide and seek.

Basically, like children, there should be an intelligence test for owning
ferrets, but unfortunately permits are not required for either.

So to sum up, if someone says he had ferrets, and grew to "hate" them, it
is because the ferrets were smarter than he was :)

Nathan
