well i usually sleep in until noon or so, but today i was awakened in a
most alarming manner! i was in the middle of a wonderful ferret dream...
does anyone have those? i was dreaming i had many many ferrets and was
writing ads, like personal ads in the paper for them (for selling them)..
ie.. "Cookie-Bear enjoys hiding socks, count chocula cereal and not using
her litter box". *anyway* i woke up to periscope under the covers biting
my toes! hard! it seems she and cookie escaped from their cage and were
wreaking havoc all over the house. they have never done this before but
hobbes has escaped once from his cage. since sadly i will be graduating
and forced to flee back into my parents house in the fall, i have to make
sure that they can't escape and end up biting my *mothers* toes in the
middle of the night. *bouncebounce*. their cage is the sort with a
plastic bottom and white wire top, that opens on the ceiling, and has two
latches on the side. anyone else had the monsters escape from such a cage?
o.. and i know the count chocula cereal is a most naughty treat but its
the only one they will "come" and "sit up" for, so i occaisonally give
cookie and periscope bits of it and sometimes sneak it to hobbes when
gary's not looking! :)
