Hello everyone, this is my first time in the FAQ, with many more uses to
come. My little Sable has a question about distemper shots. My vet
recommends them, but to be honest, I don't see how my little girl would
get infected by it. Is it an airborne virus? I am aware of how easily
the ferret can get this disease, but she is never in contact with any
cats, dogs, etc. She hasn't been outside yet! (she's only a little
girl!) I'd really like to know anyone's opinion on it. (BTW, I'm going
to get heartworm medication for her... living in Florida and all.)
