I need any help or suggestions you can offer. Last night Merritt started
to cry very loud. I went in to find him, and he was in his bed, making
this terrible cry, and was soaking wet from salivating. This is the third
time this has happened in the past few months. Prior to that, he has never
done this before. One of the reasons this worries me is because Merritt is
not a vocal ferret. Even when he dooks, it is so quiet you can hardly hear
him. He seems to be fine the rest of the time, except lately he has not
been wanting to play at all. (Maybe this could be because of the weather?
He is usually less active when it's rainy and dreary). Also, he does seem
to be a bit more wobbly when he first gets up -- it seems as if it takes
him longer to get steady before he starts to move around. He's now about 4
1/2. Do I need to be concerned? Please let me know if anyone has had this
happen before, or what it may be. (If it could be serious, I want to get
to a doctor asap.) Thanks for any help you can give me.

My condolences to all of you who have lost precious little ones. And
a big thank you to BIG and the doctors for a job well done. A fun
weekend to all!
