Hi there,
 
I just renewed my ferret license in NYS; this is the third time I've sent
$10 up to Albany to keep my fuzzies legal for the following year. Generally,
they send me a bill when my old license is near to expiring. So at least
these last few years, annual renewal has been a standard thing.
