Thanks for posting the lists.  I meant for you to delete the one you chose
not to post, but posting both didn't hurt.... <G>.

their displeasure and the lack of tourist $$$$ coming into CA because ferrets
are illegal here...

We are gathering it all together to make an impressive presentation all at
once... Don't lie in your letters, but if you really won't visit here because
ferrets are illegal, or you chose a job elsewhere for the same reason....we've
even had one person tell us they chose another university to go to because
they couldn't bring their fuzzy with them.  If you fall into one of these
catagories....WRITE!
 
To the person that heard we lost due to lack of statitistics and data.....No,
we have alot, not that we couldn't use more or more current information.  We
were given 12 minutes to present our case, Fish and Game were given about
20....WE were not allowed to rebut what they said.  This made it very
difficult....we could only guess at what they were going to attack on this
time.... We were put in the position of defending ourselves against an
unknown attack before it happened.... That ain't easy folks.  I was there.
 WE tried our best to cover anything they might bring up....but time
restraints kept us from going into the details needed for the particular
attack they chose to take.  I personally have a copy of all the literature
and data that Dick Bossart has gathered in the rabies issue, and had it at
the hearing, and it was known to be there.
 
We will succeed because we won't give up!
