Kim,
I myself am an x-ray technician. I x-ray people though, not animals. But
anyway copies here cost $4.00 per x-ray. The bad news is I doubt a vet
office has an x-ray copy machine. Please have you vet contact their office
and ask to see the x-rays. They are part of your ferrets medical file and
should not be withheld from you. If you really needed them I'm sure a
letter from a lawyer would get them to lend you the x-rays fast. Is your
new vet nearby? Can he/she go there to look at the x-rays. Have your vet
speak with the vet there, not whoever answeres the phone. Offices do not
want to lend out the x-rays because most people don't bring them back.
Maybe you will have better luck speaking directly with the doctor, he may
understand the importance of your needing them.
Sorry, I'm a bit behind here and I don't know the whole story. Is the first
vet trying to hide something?
Corrie
