Hello everyone.  I have the saddest of news to report: my little Gerty
crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday.  She had successfully undergone
surgery to remove an intestinal blockage (attributable to the lack of care
of her previous owner) but died of respiratory complications a few hours
later.  She was fine on Tues.--playing as usual with her sister
Beckett--but was very ill Wed.  night.  She had the surgery on Thurs.  and
died Fri.  morning.  I have never been so sad.  On top of this, I am now
having to sign off this wonderful list immediately as I am moving to
Thunder Bay for Teacher's College (any FML'ers out there?).  I know that
your thoughts are with me, and I will be back online a.s.a.p.  at Lakehead
University.  Till then, hug your fuzzies for me.
