Dear FMLers,
I have a quick question regarding ECE. We are going to take two ferrets
to NAFA's Ferret Show in August. Since the spread of ECE has been reported
in Colorado, I have been communicating with Stephanie Sheme, the president
of Ferrets Etc., about ECE prevention. Folowing her valuable advice, I
started giving 0.2cc of Silver Wings' Colloidal Silver to all fuzzies.
In addition, we will stop by my friend's house after the show to take
showers and give bath to Mythril and Socks to minimize possible exposures
to other ferrets at home.
My question is about cats' susceptibility to ECE. My friend has 2 cats;
if ECE is harmful to cats, then I will have to find another place to shower,
bath, etc. Several FMLers whose ferrets suffered from ECE never mentioned
about cats with ECE. I assume that ECE does not pose any danger for cats,
but I just want to make sure instead of risking friendship. Thank you
for your input in advance.
