Hi all!

Over the past few months I've read about many of the different and unusual
habits of ferrets, including "dunk the head in the water", "hide mommy's
important stuff under the bed", "carpet is toilet paper" etc...
Well, Pepper seems to be normal: she's a sock-a-holic.
However, Snowflake has this affinity towards plastic caps with ridges along
the circumference, like the tops to milk jugs, soda bottles and even little
jugs. She has tons of them in her hiding places. Most interesting of all,
she likes to turn them up, holding the cap with her front paws, and then
proceeds to grind her teeth along the ridges on the side making a grinding
noise. She will be at it for a while, then take her favorite "cap of the
day" and run to another hiding spot to grind away! Some ferrets, like
Pepper, appear at the sound of the squeak toy. Not Snowflake. However, if
you start grinding a bottle cap, she will be at you feet in a flash! I
think this is cute and all, but I am worried that she mey be grinding her
teeth to non-existence. I haven't noticed any shortening of her "fangs"
(and hers are pretty long) but is this normal? harmful? Has anyone else had
such an experience?
Thanks for your help!
