Dear Todd Cromwell:

You are moving to Austin and were wondering about doctors, places to walk
your ferret(s), etc.

I did not have my Toons a very long time so can tell you very little. I
took her to a vet on the south side of town (on Ben White) called Ben White
Pet Hospital I think. The doctor was very curtious, gentle, and low priced.
He also seemed like he knew plenty about ferrets...

As far as walking your little frit(s), I took Toons a few times to Barton
Springs Pool with no problems but the last time I took her they refused
entry, saying something about no pets being allowed. So I would recommend
Zilker park. If you go to Zilker, check your little carpet shark(s) for
bugs quite often... I remember finding Toons covered in little
termite-looking bugs and/or ants every time we left her to play for a few
minutes.

Question for some of you ferret owned: I am planning on getting another
ferret soon and would like some basic advice on something: biting - Toons
seemed to calm down and be much gentler as she got older - have any of you
experienced that without having to plick their snouts every time they bite?

I'm sure I'll think of more questions later. Thanks! 8-)
