        Probably not.  Your ferrets are carying the virus - although they may
break again under stress, reinfection usually does not occur (nor is it
necessary to see signs again).  But remember - if your ferrets come in contact
with ferrets that have not had the virus - they could certainly infect the
other ferrets...

        We are not sure yet about the possibility of various strains...
