In Minnesota, the Humane Society kills ferrets on arrival. DEFFBAM tries
to intervene and pick up any that are left at the Humane Society. But, I
understand they are given very short notice, (although they do AT LEAST
notify them). I've heard this is the case with most humane societies, who claim
that ferrets are wild animals and make bad pets. I have to stop now because I
will rant and rave about the "humane" society and bore everyone to tears as
well as work myself into a tizzy...
