I was wondering about coat conditioners for ferrets. Most of the ones
I've seen are cream rinses, which you are supposed to leave on the
ferret for two minutes before rinsing-- I don't quite see that working
with Amelia, she doesn't mind baths too much, but hanging around wet?
Not a chance. I've also seen a mink oil-based spray meant for cats and
dogs-- that seems like it could have the appropriate oils and such for
a ferret, although it seems vaguely cannibalistic. Anyway, suggestions
would be appreciated. Amelia doesn't have problem fur or skin, I just
would like her to be her fluffiest, especially when meeting new people.
On nuts-- Amelia _loves_ almonds. She stole all the almonds out of a
bowl of mixed nuts in the living room and has stashed them all over
the entire apartment. She will chew through the shell to get one out.
As is obvious later, she doesn't actually digest them; they pass through
crunched up but intact. She just enjoys them so much I figure they're
ok with regular Petromalt.
Regina and Amelia (but you said two days ago I could dig in the dirt,
why was digging up those tomato seedlings wrong?)
