        I miseed your original post about teeth cleaning.  If you wish to get
the ferret FAQ (for instructions see above), it also has a section on teeth
cleaning.  I appreciate Dr. Charbonneau's comments - remember though that she,
as a dentist, as some specialized training in this area.
 
        I generally don't advise most owners to do the teeth themselves, as few
have proper instruments, or the assistance required to do the procedure safely.
 
        Although the procedure requires general anesthesia, you should talk to
your vet about scheuling the cleaning - that way, your feret gets the best
cleaning with the least risk.
