To Pat Israelson:
 
        Pat, I am sorry for your loss.  AS someone who just lost a beloved
ferret, I know all to well what you are going through at this moment.  We too
made a choice to try and improve our ferret's quality of life, a choice which we
would do all over again.
 
        I'm glad that Rikki's passing was without pain, and hope that soon, you
too will get over the pain of his loss.  I know he had a wonderful home, and
will be deeply missed.
 
        Best of luck to the rest of the Beggars and Thieves...
